Honey and milk mask

Want to reverse hair damage? Worry not! We’ve got a perfect mask for you – a milk and honey mask. Milk is packed with proteins, zinc, amino acids and more. Honey, on the other hand, has keratin – the same element that forms our hair. Using high-fat milk will make your hair smooth and soft. Mix some honey into a cup of milk (depending on the length of your hair) and rinse it off after 30 minutes.

Aloe vera hair mask

Aloe vera promotes hair growth, removes dandruff, fights frizz and fixes damaged hair and keeps hair health in check. It is also known to have antibacterial properties, thus making it exceptionally beneficial for your hair and scalp. You can either directly use the aloe vera gel as it is or you can add a banana or honey depending on the issue you’re facing.

Avocado and olive oil mask:

Lemon and flaxseed mask

Flaxseeds are rich in omega-three fatty acids and proteins. Thus, they promote thick hair. Besides this, the superfood also helps to increase elasticity and to keep dandruff under control. Although making this mask is slightly more work than the rest, the results might just convince you to stick to the routine. Soak some flaxseeds for at least 5 hours, boil them with water and add some lime juice when it thickens. You can even add essential oil of your choice.

Hibiscus/shoe flower mask:

Hibiscus is known to be beneficial for your hair. The petals and leaves of the hibiscus flower infuse the scalp with nutrients. It is specially packed with vitamin C and calcium. This will improve hair health and strength and stimulate blood circulation to the scalp. It is also effective against dry hair. You can add a few of your own ingredients to it as well- such as coconut oil, aloe vera, almond oil etc.
